Originally launched through Giant Skateboard Distribution, the strong visual direction and messaging, supported by a tight group of professional skateboarders (friends) the brand established itself quickly during the early 2000’s. 20 years on, the art direction remains relevant and the pro riders still command respect. Popwar embodies what skateboarding means to me. It was a lifetime opportunity to build something with those closest to me at a pivotal time in my life and career.
